  Get yourself a man like André Toulon😈. He will literally have his army of animated puppets commit grisly murders💀so he can bring you back to life as a plastic mannequin😮. That’s true love right there❤️‍🔥😬.

  This was great. More schlocky, gory, puppet shenanigans🩸. A hotel is such a cozy setting for a horror movie🏨. It does take a little time to get going but it’s still fun & quirky.👍

  I think it’s a bit better than part 1. We get a bit more time with the puppets, some more memorable kills🪛, and André Toulon made a fantastic character🧟‍♂️. Love his invisible man-like bandage look🤕. So camp.

  Also, the final girl was better in this one. I liked her big red hair👩🏻‍🦰.

  Leech Woman is still my fave puppet but new boy, Torch, really won my heart in this🔥. These puppets are so cute🤘.

  I’m really into this franchise. Looking forward to part 3.😁

  Puppet Master II is 88 minutes of hokey killer puppet madness that manages to spew out a gothic atmosphere of the Universal monster variety, mixing in plenty of James Whale touches along the way in this Friday the 13th-esque styled Puppet jam that features better paced kills than the first film, and honestly probably the best kills in the entire franchise save for the latest movie.

  I love the third film a ton and think that may be the most well made of the franchise but this is definitely my favorite PM flick, a graveyard Resurection, parapsychologist slaughterfest with gothic’d out atmosphere and Toulon looking like the invisible man is exactly my kind of absurdity... as is Tunneller getting a running head start before drilling a sleeping idiots head open and Torch burning up a lady alive.

  The first sequel in the long running Puppet Master series gets off to a good start as the titular character is resurrected by his puppets in an eerie cemetery sequence. From there, it seems like we are moving into a re-run of the first film, as the action once again focuses on the seaside hotel where a punch of Scooby Doo style paranormal researchers have turned up to look into the aftermath of the events of the first film.   What is it with me and the second installment of horror franchises?? At this point, it’s kinda getting predictable. Still, a sequel featuring killer inanimate objects...how can you possibly expect me not to love it?

  This time a team of paranormal researchers investigate the infamous Bodega Bay Inn. I think overall I liked the characters in this one a bit better than the first one. The amount of puppet time is increased and the gore is better. Actually, the special effects overall are pretty great for a B-movie.   The puppet master vibe in general is a weird one. They are funny if you are in the right mood, but not funny by intention. It's hard to buy the premise that there are killer puppets coming to get you but this series commits hard. In Puppet Master 2, a group of paranormal investigators encounter vicious puppets who want their brain serum. The serum is important to reviving sometimes evil, sometimes good (it depends on which movie) puppet master Andre Toulon. In a field of charming mediocrity, Puppet Master 2 is the best of the Puppet Masters.

  Man, the rug was pulled out from under me so fast. With that atmospheric resurrection opener, I thought I was going to be in for a treat. Quickly, things changed. Much like the first movie, the non-puppet aspects of the story grinds everything to a halt. I needed entirely more Toulon in his Invisible Man inspired garb. That was so much fun that it’s frustrating we don’t get to enjoy it 100% until the end. Besides the obvious Universal reference there, the addition of the pyromaniac puppet, Torch, was very welcome. Again, it’s a shame we have to spend over an hour without any puppet mayhem before getting some action, but when we do it almost makes the movie worthwhile. As it stands, the Puppet Master series hasn’t been for me. I took a peek at the next movie’s rating and I’m cautiously optimistic. I’ll be watching it for my October marathon so I tend to be even more forgiving.

  It's about time! No seriously, it's about time I reviewed this underrated gem! I don't know what the hell took me so long. I genuinely don't understand how anyone can dislike this movie. I thought this movie was awesome! Even better than the original, which is also a great movie!   From the very Friday the 13th sequel opening the added campiness is evident and welcomed. The drama leanings of the first film created a bit of tonal confusion where this sequel starts to embrace the zany puppet filled precision.

  The awkward used cars salesmen/dramatic stage actors from the first film are replaced with more established 80s slasher type characters which really increases the entertainment value.

  Toulon looking like the invisible man/acting all wiled out/clumsy was a tad goofy this time around. Felt like it was a little too close to Michael Scott's blind guy msqueezie character.   More gore and deaths then the first film and the puppets again look cool and thebeffects used to make them move loom OK, enjoyed the new puppet, torch, nice design, but as with the first one, the human characters just aren't interesting, would've been better if more time was spent with the puppets, but the puppet master was fun, his look and performance gave the film a lot of fun and humour. The pacing was also not great, for an 89 minute film there were some scenes that dragged.
