Time is running out for clubs to active Bruno Guimaraes’ release clause.

The £100m clause will expire at midnight tonight - after then Newcastle are free to set their on price for the midfielder.

Manchester City and Arsenal have previously been linked with Guimaraes, but it is not expected that a club will make a move before the end of the day.

Newcastle are no longer pursuing a move for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The Magpies had appeared to be in pole position to sign the Everton striker, viewing him as a replacement for Callum Wilson, who reports suggest is likely to leave this summer.

However, according to Sky Sports, Newcastle have pulled out of the race to sign Calvert-Lewin, believing a £40m valuation is too high.

Arsenal are pushing to sign Real Sociedad’s Mikel Merino.

Neymar has tipped Chelsea’s new signing Estevao Willian to become Brazil’s next big thing.

Brazil star Neymar has thrown his considerable backing behind Palmeiras’ teen talent Estevao, who has completed terms on a move to Chelsea in the summer of 2025.

Chelsea struck a £29.5million basic fee with Palmeiras for Estevao, already dubbed ‘Mini Messi’ for his ability on the ball.

“I think Estevao is the big talent that is coming in Brazilian football,” Neymar told Brazil Edition.

Hein, who is a regular for Estonia, made his debut for Arsenal the following season and has been tipped for a big future.

“I’m delighted to extend my contract and continue my journey in this amazing club after six years. Hopefully, there will be even more good memories and successes for the club,” he said.

Hein is expected to go on loan this summer to secure more minutes, with clubs in the Championship chasing him.

Lazio are set to open discussions with Manchester United over Mason Greenwood.

The former is expected to leave United this summer, having spent last season on loan at Getafe.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Lazio are interested and are planning to hold negotiations, but will not be able to meet United’s asking price of £30m.
