However, I’ve been here about 4 times now (just moved here or it would be more) and the food has been absolutely awesome each time. “We always enjoy going to the "Pub" for lunch. The servers , and the other people, are always friendly and helpful. We get the 14" thin crust pizza with 2 toppings quite often.Parking: We can usually park right in front of the entry door, or very close.”

“A very cool, relaxing, welcoming place to enjoy a beer, have great conversation with a bartender, and sit outside when the weather permits. A large bar with well designed beer garden. They have a variety of beers and one named after Freeport the Pretzel City! They have lagers, pilsners and ales. The environment is relaxing and the building stands out ! Since the main road is under construction , GPS did not help, but after we realized it kept rerouting us to the closed road. If in the area, stop in. Also their beer can be found in many locations in the Rockford area and some Binnys.”

“I had not been to the restaurant since I was a very little boy, but I distinctly remember during the summer watching the kids play baseball across the street. This time when I visited, the food and atmosphere took my breath away. The decor was fabulous, including a live piano which played many tunes that were both recognizable, and well received. The food was excellent as well. We had the deep dish Chicago style pizza and one piece was more than enough for each of us. There was also the friendly staff that helped us with the menus and was always on hand when we needed them.Parking: Parking can be a bit tricky on busier nights, as the parking lot for the building is a bit small and several other businesses in the area do not like to have people parking in their lots. With a bit of creativity though, there is plenty of parking if you are willing to cross the street.”

“The Wagner HouseI highly recommend this venue to have your wedding at and reception! We had our wedding on 10.21.23. It’s very industrial rustic. The owner Bill Is very friendly and accommodating. He has created a very elegant and unique event venue. The owner made us feel like family. The bar tenders and staff are all very polite. Savanna the event planner was very professional, and made sure all of our needs were met. The food was absolutely delicious. We got the ham with honey glaze, and grilled salmon for our reception. The rehearsal dinner we got the taco bar. The Bar staff was very accommodating to our specialty drinks. The speakeasy was a great space for the boys to get ready, and the bridal suite was everything I could have imagined for my day! We will forever be grateful for how they made our day so special!Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating for dietary restrictions. “Today was our first visit and it was excellent; Our waitress (a tall slim young lady whose name eludes me) was very courteous and friendly, my wife had the "steak salad" which she said was outstanding, I had the pork tenderloin that was the size of a Pontiac hubcap, and French fries, which also was excellent, and we had their hand battered onion rings...YUM! The prices are reasonable by todays standards; Oh yes, we'll be back!”

“AMAZING CATERING! We contracted with The Muse to cater a 50 person family event last Saturday. The dinner was Greek Themed and everybody absolutely loved it. Lamb kabobs, Greek Chicken, veggies, rice, a wonderful salad, Nan bread, pita chips all with homemade whipped Feta, Hummus and Tzatziki sauce! My formally trained chef/cousin from Lake Bluff dined at the Muse ahead of the event to sample their food and loved them. She felt their catering also was equally excellent! Josh and Dan personally set up dinner in our home. They each are super accommodating and personable. Their event spaces on-site look amazing! I look forward to future in person meals, drinks on their lovely deck and they will be our 1st choice for future catering needs. 5 stars!”

“Like the down to home feeling there. Wished they served more than pizza. But do like that they try it get different things going on there to bring more people in. They have events like keoroke, pool and dart tournaments. Raffles and outside events. You can even rent it out for parties. Great place.”

“True sports bar with great specials on drinks and food. You can walk right out into the bowling alley or down to the arcade. I happen to be there on a Taco Tuesday. Lucky me. Both the hard and soft taco or overflowing with ingredients. The salsa and sour cream spot on. Service was great.”

“I like it when I get to leave a good review and Asia Cafe in Freeport deserves it. I've been to all the Chinese food places in Freeport and none compete with the food from here. I have been to this establishment eight times now and even the times where it wasn't thier top service it was still delicious food. The place is always busy around dinner rush (which should be a good sign) and the prices for what you are getting are fair. My go to is the chicken fried rice but I have also had the orange chicken and the general Tso and it's not blow your mind cuisine but for the area it really hits the Chinese food craving spot. My only critique would be on the crab Rangoons. They seem really phoned in. I would be willing to pay more for a higher quality supplier of those, but what's currently offered is a little disappointing. Everything else I've tried has been worth the money and I plan on going many more times in the future. Also consider adding a fortune cookie with the food please. ?”

“We were the only customers the entire time we were there (couple hour span). Other than that being a little weird we had a pleasant experience. It was nice to try a couple locally made beers, shoot pool, and have some waffle fries, which were cooked well. Bar and bathrooms were very clean and the bartender was attentive.”

“I would like to leave a wonderful review about the waitress that waited on us when we there. Our service was absolutely wonderful and she was very attentive and friendly and provided the best service I’ve ever had in the Freeport area! Our waitress’s name was Cristal and I felt I had to leave a review because she was absolutely wonderful and had a great personality and was super friendly, not to mention our drinks were kept full and she came and checked on us attentively, The food tasted great and we were very pleased with our experience, we will be coming back to enjoy the great food and even better service, and hope to get the same exceptional service and waitress on our next visit. I would definitely recommend coming to Imperial Palace Freeport.”

“Lived in Freeport for 3 years and had never been to Pub 219. Wanted to try This Is It Eatery but discovered that they had moved to a new location and weren’t open yet. Decided to try Pub 219 and I’m glad that I did! The food was excellent. The pretzel bites with cheese are to die for. I had the Reuben with side of coleslaw and husband had the mushroom and Swiss burger with the natural cut fries. Both meals were excellent! Waitress was extremely friendly. Atmosphere was laid back which we loved. We finally got to escape the house and 4 kids, it was nice to be somewhere more quiet and chill.”

“My husband, Scott, and I had both our wedding ceremony and reception at the Freeport Club last month. Shawn was very easygoing and accommodating as we planned our event. In the months leading up to our event, he answered our numerous questions and met with us several times. The wedding party was able to get ready on-site; the room provided was great and it allowed for a much more laid-back day for the wedding party. During the event, the service was excellent and everything ran smoothly. The Club's team discreetly tore-down all our ceremony chairs and set-up the buffet while our guests were enjoying co*cktails. We had a wonderful wedding day and would recommend this venue for an event.”

We ordered tonight, and when our delivery driver got here he informed me that they forgot our 2 liter of root beer, but he stopped at a store and bought us one. The pizzas, you can get whatever toppings you'd like and if they don't have what you want, take it home and add more. Can't go wrong with papa Murphy's pizza. They don't mess around and make your pizzas as soon as they are in. And they are friendly, if you have questions they are quick to help you.
