I transferred to Southeast Missouri State my sophom*ore year of college. This transition was very smooth and the staff was able to set me up with an advisor immediately. I major in Communication Disorders-Speech Language Pathology and I couldn't ask for a better program. The professors want you to succeed and provide an immense amount of opportunities in and outside of the classroom. In addition to this, the Center for Speech and Hearing clinic is located on campus and undergraduates get to observe and eventually have client's of their own.
This transition also went smoothly within greek life. I joined a sorority at my previous school and was able to transition into the same one here at SEMO! The Panhellenic community is so uplifting and reassures you that you are where you are meant to be.

My favorite thing about attending Southeast Missouri State University has been the development of their online program. It's clear their online program has been very well developed, and includes orientation courses and an in depth student profile where everything necessary can be accessed.

I have loved being a student on River campus! The professors are great and the facilities are also amazing! I also love having access to the athletic trainers on River campus. The biggest thing that I would say should change is the food and the facilities management. The elevator in one of the main buildings was out for almost an entire semester before it was fixed while they had students with injuries struggling to get to classes. The food has also been subpar for what they charge for it.
